Khachapuri is a tasty and satisfying dish that can be prepared in different ways, with different doughs and fillings. You can even make khachapuri in a frying pan, but you need to prepare a very thin dough.

Cook Tetiana shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious lazy pan-fried khachapuri, with a delicious filling of cheese and suluguni with greens.

Ingredients:

  • kefir – 1 cup

Kefir for the dough

  • oil – 2 tbsp
  • salt – a pinch

Wheat flour

  • sugar – a pinch
  • flour – 300 g

For the filling:

  • cottage cheese – 150 g

  • Suluguni – 150 g

  • dill or any herbs

Method of preparation:

1. Add oil, salt and sugar to the kefir.

2. Mix the flour with baking soda, pour it into the kefir, and knead the dough into a soft dough.

3. Put it into a bowl and cover it.

4. Filling: chop the greens, add the cheese and grated suluguni, and mix well.

5. Divide the finished dough into 4 pieces, make a ball from each piece, roll it out thinly, put the filling in the center, and pinch.

6. Sprinkle with flour and roll into a cake – about 22-24 cm.

7. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan, put the khachapuri, and fry under the lid on both sides over medium heat until tender.
