Kifli are traditional Transcarpathian pastries that resemble a miniature bagel. The pastry is based on a light shortcrust pastry made from just three ingredients, as well as a filling.
One of the culinary blogs (voloshkove.pole) published a recipe for Zakarpattia kifli with filling and powdered sugar on Instagram. It is not recommended to add baking powder or soda to the dough, as it is already tender and crumbly due to the butter content.
