Instead of Charlotte: Apple and cinnamon buns with yeast dough – recipe
Scones are an ideal alternative to pies, cakes, and cookies. Most often, buns are made with yeast dough, and various fruits, berries, nuts, cabbage, meat, and liver can be used as fillings.

Ingredients:
Dough:
- pressed yeast - 25 g
- flour - 550 g
- sugar - 4 tbsp
- warm milk - 250 ml
- melted butter - 80 g
- egg yolks - 2 pcs.
- eggs - 1 pc.
Filling:
- apples - 5-6 pcs.
- sugar - 7-8 tbsp.
- cinnamon - 4-5 tsp.
- Powdered sugar - to taste
- egg - 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: grind the yeast into a bowl, add sugar, pour in milk, and add flour, mix and leave the dough for 10-15 minutes.
2. Separately, combine the eggs, remaining sugar, salt, whisk a little with a whisk and pour in the milk, dough, add the flour in parts, finally pour in the oil and knead the dough and leave for 1 hour to rise.
3. Filling: peel and cut the apples into small pieces, add cinnamon and sugar, mix.
4. Roll out the dough thinly into a rectangle, sprinkle with powdered sugar and apples, roll into a roll and cut into pieces.
5. Place on a baking sheet, leave for another 20-25 minutes, and brush with egg.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
