Every housewife has such an important and necessary item as towels. But very often you have to get rid of them too soon because it is simply impossible to remove stains, often even due to improperly selected products.

1. Salt water

It will help to remove traces of coffee, wine, and tomato juice. Just dissolve 100 g of salt in 1 liter of water.

2. Washing powder

Only white towels can be washed with this product. Dissolve 20 g of powder and salt in 1 liter of water.

3. Dishwashing liquid

Pour 1 tsp of dishwashing detergent into the water and wash the towels.

Don't forget that before washing, towels must be soaked for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

What are the best products for soaking towels

1. Vinegar

Vinegar is very good at removing stains and even mold. Just pour 0.5 cups of 9% vinegar into the machine during the wash, add the powder into the fabric softener compartment.

2. Mustard

This is a great way to not only wash towels from stains but also to disinfect them. Mix a few tablespoons of mustard with boiling water. Soak the towels and apply the mustard mixture to the stains. Set aside for 7-8 hours. Then wash them well.

3. Potassium permanganate

It is an ideal neutralizer of bad odors. All you need to do is add 1 tsp of potassium permanganate to warm water and leave the towels there for 30-60 minutes. Then wash the towels by hand.

4. Oil

Mix oil and detergent in a 1:1 ratio. Pour this mixture over dirty towels, then add hot water and leave for 10 hours. After that, wash them well.

5. Laundry soap

Rub the stained towels well with soap, put them in a plastic bag and put them in the refrigerator overnight. After that, you can wash them with soap or powder.
