  • pepper – 3 kg (already peeled)
  • garlic – 60 g
  • water – 1 liter
  • vegetable oil – 250 ml
  • salt – 60 g or 2 tbsp with a slide
  • sugar – 250 g
  • allspice
  • bay leaves
  • vinegar – 150 ml

1. Wash and thoroughly conveniently sterilize the jars.

2. Wash the peppers well, halve them, and remove the tail and seeds.

3. Then cut the halves into pieces of the desired size, approximately the size of your jars.

4. To prepare the marinade, use a large saucepan. Add water, salt, sugar, allspice, bay leaf, oil and garlic.

5. Stir thoroughly and bring the marinade to a boil.

6. Add the vinegar after the entire mixture has boiled in the pan.

7. Put the prepared pepper into the boiling marinade and cook it over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring gently.

8. The pepper should become softer, but not boiled.

9. When the peppers are softer, transfer them hot to the prepared sterilized jars, making sure that the spices are evenly distributed among the jars.

10. Pour over the boiling marinade and immediately close the lid.

11. Turn the jars of pickled peppers upside down, cover them with a blanket, and leave them there until they cool.
