Recipe for marinade on kefir
Spring is the season of delicious barbecue, which is loved by almost everyone. It is made from various meats, from pork to chicken and vegetables. The most important thing is to make a good marinade, which determines the taste and softness of the meat.
Culinary expert Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared on Instagram a recipe for the most successful barbecue marinade, the main ingredients of which are kefir and mineral water.
Marinade recipe

Ingredients:
- Kefir – 0.5 liters
Buttermilk for marinade

- Highly carbonated mineral water – 0.5 l
- Dijon mustard – 1 tbsp

- Smoked paprika – 1/2 tsp
- Dry garlic – 1/2 tsp
- Dry onion – 1/2 tsp
Spices for barbecue
- Dry ginger – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper – 5 peas
Pepper mix
- Allspice – 5 peas
- Thyme – 2 sprigs
Thyme for marinade
- Bay leaf – 3 leaves
- Salt – 1 tbsp
Meat for barbecue
- Any meat – 1 kg
Method of preparation:
1. Pour the kefir into a bowl, add water, mix.

2. Add mustard, paprika, dry onion, garlic, ginger and mix again.

3. Add the black pepper, allspice, salt, thyme, and bay leaf to this mixture, mix well, and add the chopped meat.
