To begin with, we note that in order for the tomato to turn out really successful, you need to adhere to some rules, namely:

  1. Choose only whole, not damaged tomatoes, necessarily ripe.
  2. Do not spare spices and garlic, so the tomato will have a very pleasant aroma and taste.
  3. Vegetable oil must necessarily be in it.
  4. Before canning it - boil and sterelize the jars well, so that it does not "explode".

Recipe for spicy tomato for winter

Homegrown Tomato

Ingredients:

  • tomatoes - 5 kg
  • salt - 1,5 tbsp. l.
  • sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • garlic - 5 cloves.
  • vegetable oil - 150 ml
  • bay leaf - 5 pcs.
  • black pepper peas - 10-15 pcs.

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash well tomatoes, cut in half, pass through a meat grinder.
  2. Pour the tomato mixture into a saucepan, add chopped garlic, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, pepper, bring to a boil and then cook for another 30 minutes, be sure to stir constantly that the sauce does not burn.
  3. At the very end, add bay leaf for 2-3 minutes and take out the tomato so that it does not burn.
  4. Pour the ready sauce into sterile jars and immediately canned.
  5. Be sure to turn the jars upside down, wrapped in a warm towel or plaid, when completely cool - take out in a dark, cool place.
