How to dye eggs olive for Easter: a simple idea

Instead of dyeing eggs for Easter with chemical store-bought dyes, use natural ingredients. You can achieve completely different colors. For example, to make beautiful olive Easter eggs, you will need turmeric and karkade tea.

How to dye eggs olive:

1. Put white eggs, well washed with a sponge, into cold water.

2. Add turmeric. Stir to distribute it evenly.

3. Add karkade and put on the fire.

4. After boiling, reduce the heat slightly and cook for 10 minutes.

5. Turn off the heat and let the eggs cool in this water.

6. From time to time, turn the eggs over so that they are evenly colored. The intensity and saturation of the color depends on the time the eggs are in the solution.

7. Rinse the painted eggs gently. Do not rub them hard so as not to damage the film with the pattern.

8. When the eggs are dry, they will become matte light olive in color.

9. If you want the eggs to shine, you can rub them lightly with oil.
