You will need:
- peeled shrimps – 8-12 pcs
- capellini pasta – 115 g
- olive oil – 2 tbsp
- garlic – 3 cloves
- shallots (large) – 1 pc
- chili flakes – 2 tsp
- lemon – 2 pcs
- white wine – 100 ml
- capers – 2 tbsp
- cherry tomatoes – 60 g
- seafood broth – 100 ml
- butter – 55 g
- basil – 1 sprig
- salt, pepper – to taste
- grated Parmesan cheese – for serving
How to cook:
- Fill a 4-quart saucepan with water, and salt, cover, and bring to a boil.
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a deep frying pan. Add chopped shallots and finely chopped garlic. Fry for a few minutes until soft.
- Pour the wine into the pan, and cook until it almost evaporates. Then add the seafood broth, chili flakes, capers, cherry tomatoes cut in half, and lemons (without zest or juice).
- When the sauce boils, add the raw shrimp, salt, and pepper and simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the diced butter. When it melts, add salt and pepper as needed.
- Meanwhile, when a pot of water begins to boil, add the pasta to the water and cook it, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking together, for about 3-5 minutes or until al dente.
- Strain the pasta and quickly add it to the pan with the sauce and shrimp.
- Chop the basil leaves and add to the pasta. Stir, put in a deep bowl, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
