How to cook salmon deliciously using simple products
Red fish is most often seen on the New Year's table. It is put on sandwiches or used for the filling. But this product will look really impressive when it is whole. If you choose salmon and bake it using fairly simple products, you can get a truly restaurant dish.
Famous Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared an interesting idea for baked salmon on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- salmon fillet - 500 g
- lemon juice
- sparkling wine - 100 ml
- salt
- egg yolks - 2 pcs
Method of preparation:
1. Pour lemon juice over the fish.
2. Bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
3. Make a steam bath: put a bowl in a pan of boiling water.
4. Pour in the wine, add salt and egg yolks.
5. Whisk to make the mass thicker and whiter.
6. Pour the mixture over the fish and bake for another 5 minutes.
In addition to frying, you can also salt the fish. Pink salmon is ideal for this. It tastes very similar to regular salmon but costs several times less. A universal method of salting red fish is published on the foody_clubs Instagram page.
Method of preparation:
1. If the fish is frozen, there is no need to defrost it. Frozen fish is easier to cut as the pieces are neat and even.
2. Make a saline solution: add salt to cold boiled water (4-5 tbsp per 1 liter).
3. If a peeled potato floats in this water, the solution is ready.
4. Immerse the fish in it for 5-8 minutes. Then take it out, rinse it, and dry it with a napkin.
Put the spices in a suitable dish in layers and add odorless sunflower oil.
5. Put in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
6. Serve with onions, lemon and herbs.
