How to cook millet so that it is not bitter
Compared to other cereals, millet is considered a fairly budget-friendly product. In addition, this porridge is very healthy. However, millet has a specific bitter flavor and a rather dense texture. Therefore, to make it really tasty, you need to follow a few simple rules.

Millet porridge recipe with milk

Ingredients:
- millet - 1 cup
- water - 2 cups
- milk - 2 cups
- salt - 0.5 tsp (add to taste)
- butter
- pumpkin - 500-600 g

Method of preparation:
1. To prevent the millet from being bitter, rinse it until it is transparent and pour boiling water over it for 3-4 minutes.
2. Finely chop the pumpkin and cover with water.
Boil with butter

3. Cook for 10 minutes.

4. Add well-washed millet.
5. Add hot milk (cold milk is fine too), salt, and sugar and stir.
6. Cook over low heat until tender. Adjust the consistency to your liking.

7. Turn off the heat, add butter and let it brew for 10 minutes.
