How to cook delicious oatmeal for breakfast: a recipe with milk
Oatmeal is a delicious, satisfying, and quick breakfast option that can be prepared in just 5 minutes and without any extra effort. You can cook it with water or milk and serve it with your favorite fruits, berries, dried fruits, honey, or jam.
Food blogger Liliia with the nickname lileklilek2 shared a recipe for oatmeal with milk, dried fruit, and banana on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- milk – 500 ml
- oatmeal – 5-6 tbsp
- salt
- sugar
Filling:
- banana
- dried apricots
- prunes
- cranberries
- butter
Method of preparation:
1. Pour milk into a saucepan, and add salt and sugar. Put on fire and bring to a boil.
2. When the milk boils, add the oatmeal. Bring to a boil and cook for a few minutes.
3. Grind all the dried fruits for the filling.
4. Cut the banana into rings and fry in butter on both sides until golden brown.
5. Serve the oatmeal with dried fruit, banana, and a slice of butter on top.
