How to cook a delicious pilaf with vegetables and meat: the perfect recipe for a lunch dish
Pilaf is one of the simplest, tastiest, most satisfying dishes based on rice and meat. For a bright flavor, you need to add spices, garlic, and it is worth noting that the taste of the dish will also depend on the meat.
Cook Polina shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious, crumbly pilaf with vegetables and meat, which is an ideal option for a hearty lunch.
Ingredients:
- pork tenderloin - 400 g
- rice - 250 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1 head
- a mixture of spices - to taste
- salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the meat until crisp, add the diced onion.
2. Cut the carrots into large pieces and add to the meat and onions, fry for 15 minutes over medium heat.
3. Then add the rice, stir and fry for another 5 minutes.
4. Put a clove of garlic on top and cover with water, it should cover the rice by 2 cm (do not stir).
5. Cover and cook over low heat for 30-35 minutes until the water has completely evaporated and the rice is tender.
