How to bake pork tenderloin in the oven: the perfect meat appetizer
Baked pork tenderloin in the oven is a delicious meat dish that can be served on a festive table, eaten with borscht, bread, or simply with sauce. It tastes especially good if you bake it with spices and piquant garlic. Be sure to let the meat marinate well beforehand.
Food blogger Mariia Lysytsia with the nickname masha_lisitsia shared a recipe for baked tenderloin with spices on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- lard/brisket/underbelly – 800-1000 g
- salt – 2 tsp with a slide
- garlic – 4 cloves
- dried garlic – 1 tsp
- ground pepper – 1 tsp
- ground coriander – 1 tsp
- paprika – 1 tsp
- bay leaf – 2 pcs
- olive oil – 2 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the tenderloin and dry it with paper towels. Make holes in the tenderloin.
2. Cut the garlic into pieces and fill the holes in the brisket with them.
3. For the so-called marinade, mix salt, pepper, paprika, coriander, and dry garlic. Add olive oil and mix.
4. Spread the spice mixture on all sides of the brisket and put it on foil. Also, add bay leaves. Wrap in foil and leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
5. Bake the tenderloin in the oven in foil at 180 degrees for 30 minutes, then at 160 degrees for 30 minutes. Then unwrap the foil and bake for another 20-30 minutes.
