Homemade Napoleon in 30 minutes: how to make a cake from Ears cookies

Homemade Napoleon cake can be made without baking in the oven. In this case, use ordinary cookies instead of puff pastry. In addition, the dessert is deliciously complemented by a filling: cherries, strawberries, blueberries, and even apples.

Food blogger Marichka Repetska (marichka_repetska) shared a recipe foк a homemade Napoleon cake on her Instagram page, which you can make from Ears cookies without baking and in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

• biscuits "Ears" - 400 g
• eggs - 2 pcs
• sugar - 80 g
• milk - 300 g
• sour cream - 300 g
• butter - 50 g
• starch - 2 tbsp
• vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. First, prepare the custard. To do this, add sugar, milk, sour cream, vanilla sugar, and starch to the eggs. Mix everything and put on fire.

2. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. As soon as bubbles begin to appear, remove the cream from the stove. Add the butter and stir. Leave the cream to cool.

3. For decoration, set aside 30 g of cookies. Add half the cream to the rest, mix and leave to stand for 10 minutes.

4. To form the cake: put the biscuits and cream into the mold alternately. Sprinkle the cake with cookie crumbs on top. Leave the finished dessert in the refrigerator overnight. Enjoy!
