Homemade honey cake: a recipe for the simplest pastries for tea

Honey cake is a delicious and very easy to prepare tea cake. It is made from available ingredients that you just need to mix together. Medivnik is very soft and has a pronounced honey flavor.

Food blogger Oksana Dorosh (oksana_dorosh_rezeptu) shared a recipe for honey cake with nuts on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

• eggs - 2 pcs
• honey - 150 g
• sugar - 1 glass
• vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
• kefir - 1 glass
• baking soda - 1 tbsp
• flour - 10-13 tbsp
• ground nuts - 1 glass
• cinnamon - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Beat eggs and sugar with a mixer until fluffy.

2. Add kefir, honey and oil. Beat again until smooth.

3. Gradually add flour and baking soda, nuts and cinnamon. Mix well.

4. Pour the resulting dough into the mold. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
