If you're tired of regular cutlets, you can always cook a delicious and, most importantly, healthy alternative, such as meatballs, noisettes, stuffed cabbage, dumplings, or just pies. Which, by the way, are very quick and easy to prepare.

Tetiana Lytvynova, a cook and MasterChef judge, shared a recipe for a very tasty and even unusual dish on her YouTube channel that will appeal to everyone – meat bread with vegetables (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

Meat bread with carrots

Ingredients:

  • Minced meat (beef, turkey) - 650 g
  • Onions - 160 g
  • Sweet pepper - 120 g
  • Potatoes - 50 g
  • Carrots - 60 g
  • Breadcrumbs - 60 g
  • Quail eggs - 8 pcs.
  • Garlic - 1 clove.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
  • Olives - 40 g
  • Green peas - 100 g
  • Oil - 2 tbsp.
You can add peas, and olives to the dish

Method of preparation:

  1. Mix the minced meat well.
  2. Boil quail eggs, and peel them.
  3. Fry the onion well and blend in a blender until smooth, add to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and mix.
  4. Grate half the potatoes on a fine grater.
  5. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  6. Cut the carrots into long strips, dice the peppers, and add them to the minced meat along with the fresh peas, mix well and divide into 3 equal parts.
  7. Put the first layer of minced meat on the bottom, then the carrots, then the bulk of the minced meat, eggs in the center, olives, and minced meat again, tamp everything well with a spatula and sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Put the dish in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 180 C.

The finished dish is best served hot, you can eat it with soup, or salads – it will be very tasty.
