Four-ingredient coconut cookies in 20 minutes: no flour in the recipe
These coconut cookies are the perfect quick tea time pastry for the whole family. The dessert requires only four ingredients, and there is no flour among them. This is because the base is made of thick protein foam – it is very fluffy, and tender and holds its shape well.
The idea of making four-ingredient flourless coconut cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Nadia Oranska (nadia.oranska).
Ingredients:
- egg white – 3 pcs.
- sugar – 120 g
- a pinch of salt
- coconut flakes – 200 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat cold egg whites with a pinch of salt with a mixer at high speed, gradually add sugar.
2. Beat until fluffy, thick, like meringue.
3. Add coconut flakes, mix with a spatula or spoon.
4. Spoon onto the parchment, shape into cookies, and bake at 180 g for 20 minutes.
5. After baking, leave to cool completely (do not tear off the parchment)
