Flavorful garlic buns with herbs are just the perfect complement to first courses. They are easy to prepare. Thanks to the successful yeast and milk dough, the buns are very fluffy and airy.

Ukrainian chef Mykola (mykola_lyulko) shared a recipe for delicious garlic buns with yeast and milk dough on his Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • milk - 500 g (room temperature)
  • dry yeast - 10 g
  • sugar - 4 tbsp
  • salt - 2 tsp.

  • yolk - 4 pcs
  • fat sour cream - 2 tbsp
  • wheat flour - 1000-1200 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix milk, yeast, sugar and salt. Stir until smooth.

2. Add the egg yolks and sour cream. Stir to combine.

Preparing dough.

3. Add flour and knead the dough for about 15 minutes. Cover and leave to rise.

4. Form the dough into buns. Cover with a towel and leave to rise.

5. Brush with egg yolk and bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

6. After baking, let cool for 10-15 minutes, and then brush with butter and garlic. Sprinkle with dill if desired.
