Fish cutlets are a delicious, dietary and healthy dish. Be sure to add onions to the minced fish and fry the cutlets in breading. This way, they will keep their shape and have a crispy crust. However, you can make cutlets not only from minced fish.
One of the culinary blogs (cook_with_me_at_home) published a recipe for canned fish cutlets on Instagram.
Recipe for canned fish cutlets
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 2-3 pcs.
- canned fish - 1 tin
- onion - 2 pcs.
- egg - 1 pc.
- semolina - 1 tbsp. for the minced fish + some for rolling the cutlets
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the potatoes in their skin and cool. Grate on a fine grater.

2. Drain the canned fish and mash it with a fork. Mix with potatoes.
3. Peel and chop the onion. Fry until transparent and soft. Add to the total mass.
4. Add the egg, salt, pepper and semolina. Stir to combine.
How to cook canned fish cutlets
5. Form the cutlets and roll them in semolina.
6. Fry.
