In Ukraine, the blueberry season has now begun, a delicious and very healthy berry that is a natural antioxidant, but you need to choose it with special care in markets and stores. You can make a lot of delicious dishes from it, from ice cream to dumplings and pies, or just eat it fresh and frozen.
FoodOboz has prepared a delicious recipe for Finnish blueberry pie with sour cream filling.
Homemade pie with blueberries and sour cream filling
Ingredients for the dough:
- rye flour 100 g
- wheat flour 100 g
- sugar - 100 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- butter - 100 g
- salt - a pinch
Filling and topping:
- blueberries - 250 g
- fat sour cream - 250 ml
- sugar - 100 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- vanilla - a pinch
Method of preparation:
- Sift the 2 types of flour and combine, add sugar, salt, and soft butter, and mash well until smooth.
- Add the egg and knead well until elastic.
- Put the finished dough into the mold so that there are sides and put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 C.
- Wash the berries, dry them, and put them in an even layer on the finished pie base.
- Filling: mix sour cream with sugar, add egg, and vanilla, and whisk well until smooth.
- Pour the sour cream mixture over the cake and put it back in the oven for 20 minutes at 180-190 C.
It is better to serve the cake when it has cooled down, so you can cut it beautifully without any problems.
