Festive pie with red fish and spinach: the recipe was shared by Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi
Salty pies are not only an alternative to bread, but they can also be a great appetizer on a festive table. You can use eggs, onions, meat, fish, and seafood for the filling.
Chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe for a delicious, appetizer pie with fish and spinach on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- puff pastry yeast dough – 1 kg
- frozen spinach – 400 g or fresh spinach – 1 kg
- onion – 150 g
- eggs – 6 pcs.
- butter – 60-70 g
- pink salmon – 950 g
- salt, pepper
- egg
1. Defrost the dough, sprinkle with flour and roll out on parchment.
2. Wash and dry the spinach, chop coarsely.
3. Dice the onion and fry in butter until golden brown, add the spinach, salt and pepper, stir and cook until the spinach is wilted.
4. Fillet the fish and carefully remove the bones.
5. Boil the eggs and cut into slices.
6. Put the spinach and onions on the dough first, then the eggs, then the fish on top, season with salt and pepper.
7. Brush the dough with egg and make a light pattern with scissors without cutting through the dough completely.
8. Bake the cake for 25-27 minutes in an oven preheated to 180-185 C.
It will be delicious both hot and cold.
