Festive Mushroom Lawn salad: better than Olivier and Shuba

Mushroom Lawn is a festive salad with pickled mushrooms and fresh seasonal vegetables. Although the dish is mayonnaise-based, it has many light ingredients. Greens add a special freshness.

The idea of making a salad with canned mushrooms was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname top havchik. It looks very aesthetically pleasing.

Ingredients:

  • marinated mushrooms - 300 g
  • chicken fillet - 300 g
  • hard cheese - 70 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • cucumber - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • dill
  • green onions 4 stalks
  • salt, pepper - to taste;
  • mayonnaise

Method of preparation:

1. Boil potatoes, carrots, eggs, and chicken.

2. Take a deep bowl with a flat bottom and cover it with cling film (you will need to turn the salad over).

3. Put the marinated mushrooms on the bottom of the dish with the caps down.

4. Finely chop the dill and put it on top of the mushrooms. Brush with mayonnaise.

5. Grate the cheese, put it on top, and brush with mayonnaise again.

6. Grate the eggs.

7. Put on top, then add a layer of grated carrots and mayonnaise again.

8. Put the chopped boiled chicken fillet in an even layer and grease with mayonnaise.

9. Next layer is diced cucumber and finely chopped onion.

10. Grease with mayonnaise.

11. The last layer is grated boiled potatoes and mayonnaise.

12. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1.5-2 hours.

13. Before serving, turn the salad over so that the mushrooms are on top.
