Delicious salad with Korean-style carrots: how to prepare a festive dish
This is a very tasty and satisfying salad cooked with commonplace products that can be a great addition to a festive table. The dish is prepared with French fries, Korean-style carrots, smoked chicken, mushrooms, and even an omelet. Therefore, you can safely experiment with the products you like.
Nutritionist and food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx) shared a recipe for a festive salad with Korean-style carrots on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 250 g
- onion - 100 g
- mushrooms - 150 g
- ready Korean-style carrots - 75 g/fresh carrots - 1 pc
- cucumber - 75 g
- oil for frying
- mayonnaise/sour cream
- salt, pepper
- greens (you can take young cabbage)
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the chicken fillet in salted water until tender.
2. Meanwhile, chop the onion and mushrooms. Fry together for 5 minutes. Then reduce the heat and simmer under the lid for a few more minutes.
3. Peel the cucumber and grate it on a coarse grater.
4. Grate the carrots. Season with spices and oil.
5. Cut the finished fillet into cubes.
6. Lubricate the bottom of a flat plate with a little mayonnaise or sour cream.
7. Put the onions and mushrooms on top of the chicken. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
8. Put a layer of cucumber and carrots. Spread with mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Sprinkle with herbs.
