Delicious choux pastry with onions and eggs: a recipe for the perfect soup dish
Any pie is an ideal option for a delicious dessert with sweet fillings, as well as an appetizer dish with savory ones – fish, meat, offal.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for a delicious pie with green onions and a boiled egg on his website.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- kefir - 400 ml
- sugar - 2 tbsp.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- flour - 280 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
- salt - a pinch
For the filling:
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- green onions - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, add sugar and a pinch of salt, and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add to the pan with the butter and sugar, pour in the kefir, add the baking powder and flour, and mix until smooth.
3. For the filling: boil the eggs and cut them into small cubes along with the onion.
4. Grease a baking dish with a thin layer of butter and pour half of the dough into the dish, then put the filling, spread it evenly over the entire surface, and pour the second part of the dough on top.
5. Bake the cake in the oven for 35 minutes at 200°C.
