Beets are one of the most delicious and healthy vegetables. You can eat it raw, boiled, and baked. It makes light, tasty salads and sauces, as well as borscht.
Beetroot salad without mayonnaise
Chef Valeriy Ponomar shared a recipe for delicious Korean-style beets, which will taste very spicy and flavorful, on Instagram.
Recipe
Ingredients:
- beets - 500 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- sugar - 1.5 tbsp.
- 6% vinegar - 2 tbsp.
- coriander - 1 tsp.
- black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 60 ml
- garlic - 4 cloves.
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the beets.

2. Add salt and leave for 30-40 minutes until the juice releases.

3. Heat the oil until it boils.

4. Add the chopped garlic, vinegar, spices and hot oil to the beets, stir and cover the bowl with cling film. Leave for 4-5 hours.
