Curd and berry dessert: a real summer delight in a glass

The strawberry season does not last as long as we would like. Therefore, it is important to enjoy the berry to the fullest during this period of time. To do this, there are many different recipes with strawberries as the main ingredient.

For example, food blogger Lisa Glinska offered a recipe for a cottage cheese and strawberry dessert in a glass on her Instagram. This dish can impress with its taste and even replace breakfast.

Ingredients:

  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 50 gr
  • Corn starch - 15 gr
  • Cottage cheese - 200 g
  • Strawberry puree - 50 g
  • Currant puree - 50 g
  • Gelatin - 5 g + 25 ml of water
  • Cream at least 30% - 200 ml

The way of preparation:

1. Pour gelatin with water and leave for 15-20 minutes to swell.

2. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve.

3. Mix milk, sugar and starch in a saucepan. Turn on the heat and stir constantly for 30 seconds after boiling.

4. Add gelatin and stir.

5. Add the grated cheese and mix again.

6. Add strawberry and currant puree. Mix well.

7. Whip the cream to soft peaks and combine with the curd mass.

8. Put the dessert into serving molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

9. Before serving, garnish with strawberries and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
