People who observe Lent have many restrictions on what they can eat. Therefore, when you want something sweet to go with your coffee, you need to choose the right recipes that do not use prohibited foods.
Food blogger Lisa Glinska shared a recipe for such a delicious coffee treat on Instagram. She told us what ingredients are needed to make lean chocolate-orange cookies.

Ingredients
- Flour - 300 gr
- Cocoa powder - 40 gr
- Powdered sugar - 140 gr
- Baking powder - 8 g
- Sunflower oil - 150 ml
- Orange juice - 130 ml
- Orange zest - 1 pc
Additional ingredients
- Powdered sugar - 40 g
- Nuts (any) - 50 g
Method of preparation
1.Grate the orange zest.
2. Squeeze the juice from one orange. You can use water, tea or coffee instead.

3. Add the oil and powdered sugar to the juice and mix well.
4. Whip the resulting mass with a brander for several minutes until an emulsion is formed.

5. Add the dry ingredients sifted through a sieve to the mass.
6. Knead the dough with a silicone spatula.

7. Form balls 3-3.5 cm in diameter. Roll them in powdered sugar and put a nut inside.
8. Put the formed cookies on a parchment and send them to bake for 15-16 minutes at 175 degrees.
9. Let cool completely and serve.
