Can yogurt be considered a "healthy food"? Debunking a dangerous myth

Often, when I pass by long shelves with dairy products in the supermarket, I see what a variety of yogurts with various additives! These are yogurts with fruit syrups, pieces of fruit, with chocolate balls and .... a lot of other dubious "healthy" products in beautiful packages. ⠀

⠀ And I wonder who buys it all? ⠀

After all, how much is told about the fact that there is a lot of sugar, and starch in low-fat yogurts, and dyes, and taste stabilizers and much more, which you do not even suspect. Can such products really be considered a healthy diet? ⠀

And yet, approaching the cash registers, you can see almost every second buyer of this very questionable food.⠀

You can tell as much as you want on this topic, explain, but human laziness takes over all the hard evidence. It is especially unfortunate for children who have this habitual food almost from birth. And always moms explain this by the fact that other children do not want to eat. And I also often hear this - while the child was small, I made yogurt myself, and then left, there is no time, well, and so on. I have a question - why bring harm to the body and then go to the doctors? ⠀

To think that this food as part of the daily diet ("because dairy products should be eaten, it's calcium") to add health to the child, strengthen bones and teeth, and an adult will not spoil the figure, just can not! ⠀

So I recommend buying milk, sourdough starter and making homemade yogurt. Or buy a good natural yogurt in the store, which has only two components - milk and live bacterial cultures. ⠀

Add fresh berries to it, especially since it's in season, and a drop of honey. Or you can take some nuts or seeds to taste. ⠀

This way you get healthy bacteria, vitamins and minerals, protein and fats, and most importantly - a dosed amount of simple carbohydrates.⠀
