Buns with cottage cheese filling: how to quickly prepare a real treat

This recipe is a must-try for anyone who loves delicious pastries and cottage cheese but doesn't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Food blogger Anna Fil on her Instagram offered a recipe for soft buns with cottage cheese filling that will not leave anyone indifferent. The dish is prepared very quickly and tastes perfect for tea.

Ingredients for the dough

  • Milk - 150 ml
  • Dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 packet
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Yolk - 1 pc
  • Flour - 350 g

Ingredients for the filling

  • Cottage cheese - 300 g
  • Yolk - 1 pc
  • Sugar - 50 gr
  • Vanilla flavor - 1-2 drops
  • Dried fruits - 70 g

Ingredients for the greasing

  • Yolk - 1 pc
  • Milk - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation

1. Add yeast and sugar to warm milk. Leave for 15 minutes.

2. Then add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough. Cover with plastic wrap and put in a warm place to rise for 1-1.5 hours.

3. Prepare the filling. Add sugar, vanilla flavor, egg yolk (or a whole egg if the cottage cheese is dry) to the cottage cheese and beat with a blender.

4. Add the pre-washed, dried and chopped dried fruits.

5. After the dough is ready, roll it out, spread it with cheese filling, and roll it into a roll.

6. Cut into portions. Put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Cover with foil and leave for 10-15 minutes to let the dough rise again.

7. Brush with a mixture of egg yolk and milk and bake in a preheated 180° oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
