Beet roll with tender stuffing: how to prepare an interesting and tasty appetizer

When making beetroot rolls according to this recipe, you can use any filling to your liking. But it will taste best with cream or fish.

That's what a food blogger with the nickname valerikiry says. On her Instagram, she shared a recipe that will always make beetroot roll a success.

Ingredients

  • boiled beetroot - 250 gr
  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • salt - ½ tsp
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • flour - 80 g
  • processed cheese - 2 pcs
  • soda - 1/3 tsp
  • basil - ½ tsp.

Method of preparation

1. Grate the boiled beets.

2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat until fluffy peaks.

3. Add the yolks, oil and salt to the beets. Add flour, baking soda and lemon juice. Stir to combine.

4. Add the whites gently stirring from top to bottom.

5. Pour the dough on a silicone parchment and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

6. Prepare the filling. Combine grated processed cheese with sour cream or mayonnaise.

7. Spread the roll with cheese spread, put spinach and bell peppers and roll it up.

8. Let it sit in the fridge and serve.
