What to take with you on a picnic
There is simply no better time for a picnic than summer, as it is the season of vegetables that you can take with you and cook deliciously. You can also take completely different food – from barbecue to pies for different tastes.
The FoodOboz editorial team has prepared 3 recipes for delicious and quick dishes especially for a picnic.
1. Suluguni in pita bread on the grill
Pita bread with cheese
Ingredients:
- pita bread - 3 sheets
- Suluguni cheese - 300 g
- tomatoes - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper - to taste
- dill, cilantro, parsley - 30 g each
- sour cream - 1-2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- Chop the greens, cut the tomatoes into rings.
- Spread out the pita bread, spread with sour cream, put the cheese, herbs and tomatoes on top. Roll it up and put it on the grid to bake for about 1 minute.
2. Grilled mackerel

Ingredients:
- Mackerel - 3 pcs.
- Ginger - 1 tsp.
- Basil - 2 tsp.
- Lemon - 3 pcs.
- Salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Gut the fish well, wash it, and dry it with a paper towel.
- Divide each into 2 parts, and remove the bones. Lubricate with salt and pepper inside and out. Add ginger and basil.
- Make cuts, you can insert lemon slices.
- Put the fish on the grill and bake until cooked.
3. Potatoes with bacon on the coals
Potatoes with bacon
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 7-8 pcs.
- lard - 400 g
- salt, pepper - to taste
- garlic - 3-4 cloves.
Method of preparation:
- Wash the potatoes, and leave the peel on.
- Cut into thick slices, cut the bacon into large pieces, season with salt and pepper and add garlic, mix.
- Put potatoes on a skewer, then bacon and potatoes again, then wrap in foil and bake.
