Zucchini roll with Philadelphia cheese: recipe for a delicious festive appetizer
Zucchini makes delicious appetizers like pancakes and salads. They can also be used to make pies and casseroles.
A cook shared a recipe for a delicious zucchini roll filled with fish, cream cheese, and cucumber on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 2 zucchini (550 g)
- 0.5 tsp of salt
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp of sour cream or white yogurt
- salt and spices to taste
- 3 tbsp of flour
For the filling:
- 200 g of cream cheese
- 1 cucumber
- 180 g of red fish
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the zucchini, add salt, mix and set aside.
2. Break 3 eggs into a separate bowl, add salt, spices, and sour cream and mix well.
3. Squeeze the zucchini, add it into the egg mixture, and add flour.
4. Pour the base onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and use a spatula to smooth it into a thin layer. Then bake at 200 degrees for 15-25 minutes.
5. Chill the prepared base, spread it with cream cheese and add the filling. Carefully roll up and wrap in cling film. Put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
