What vegetables and fruits to combine in one salad: a variant of a seasonal vitamin dish
Cabbage, carrots, and apples are the foods you should eat fresh right now, either separately or combined in a salad. All you need to do is add a light dressing that will perfectly complement the taste of all the ingredients. Vegetables and fruits will retain all their vitamins, remain flavorful and crispy.
The idea of preparing a healthy salad with cabbage, carrots and apple was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tatiana Sheremet.
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 300 g
- carrot - 1 pc.
- apple - 1 pc.
- green onions - a small bunch
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp.
- sugar - 0.5 tsp.
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
- oil - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Finely chop the cabbage and crush it.
2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, add them to the cabbage, finely chopped onion, and an apple, cut into strips.
3. Dress the salad with lemon juice and oil.
