What to make from honey, ginger, and lemon in the fall: a recipe for immunity
Honey, ginger, and lemon are the ingredients that should be in every kitchen during the cold season. Each of these products can protect your body from various viruses and strengthen your immune system. You can consume them separately, but a better idea would be to make a mixture of all these ingredients and add it to warming tea or just eat it with a spoon.
The idea of preparing a healthy mixture of honey, ginger, and lemon was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna with the nickname filanna.cooking.
Ingredients:
- lemon – 1 piece (120-140 g)
- fresh ginger root – 100 g (already peeled)
- honey – 300 g
Method of preparation:
1. Wash, dry, and peel the ginger.
2. Pour boiling water over the lemons, cut them into pieces with the peel, and remove the seeds.
3. Combine the ginger and lemon and grind in a blender.
4. If you don't have a blender, you can grind it in a meat grinder or grate it. Grind in any way possible and convenient.
5. Mix the resulting mixture with honey.
6. It is advisable to use homemade, high-quality honey.
7. If the honey has already been sugared, it can be heated for 10-20 seconds in the microwave to make it better mixed with the rest of the ingredients until smooth.
8. Put the mixture into a glass container with a lid.
9. Store in the refrigerator.
10. This mixture is good to add to tea or simply dissolve in warm water. You can also eat it with a spoon, washed down with your favorite drink.
