What to eat for breakfast to stay full all day: just one tip
Breakfast is an extremely important meal that will help you feel energized for several hours. According to experts, you should eat hearty, tasty, and healthy foods in the morning, such as omelets, cereals, cheesecakes, cottage cheese, vegetable casseroles, and even soups.
Nutritionist Lauren Manaker said that the best breakfast that will make you feel full for several hours is only protein. It can be just boiled eggs or an omelet, scrambled eggs, or poached eggs.
"Protein is not only useful for building muscle mass, it also keeps you feeling full and keeps you full for much longer. Always choose eggs for breakfast, first of all, it is an economical and nutritious product that provides a natural boost of nutrients, and it is also easy to prepare," the nutritionist said.
The expert added that eggs have only 70 calories each, and they contain a lot of vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats, as well as 6 grams of protein. They mustn't contain sugar and carbohydrates, so they can always be eaten by those on a diet.
The nutritionist recommends making an omelet with vegetables, cheese, and whole-grain bread for breakfast and drinking green tea or grapefruit juice.
The expert also named the second healthy breakfast food, and it turned out to be yogurt, without additives and sugar.
"Greek yogurt is a source of protein and calcium, and it does contain live cultures that support gut health, but many of the foods that are added to Greek yogurt can be low in nutrients or high in calories," the nutritionist said.
She also added that in no case should healthy yogurt be spoiled with muesli, nuts, and honey, so as not to turn a healthy product into a harmful one.
"Additives such as muesli and honey can turn a healthy food such as Greek yogurt into a sugar bomb," the nutritionist concluded.
