Potato pancakes
Gray and unattractive potato pancakes or deruny are a common problem. Grated potatoes darken quickly, so the dish loses its golden color and crust. However, it's very easy to fix.
Today, the FoodOboz editorial team will share tips to help you make crispy and delicious potato pancakes.
What you need to add
- To make the pancakes have a beautiful, appetizing golden color, add a small amount of sour cream or yogurt to the base.
- Another product that prevents darkening is onion. You can grate it. This ingredient will add a pleasant flavor to the dish.
- You can also pour hot milk into raw potatoes so that they remain light.
- Squeeze out all the liquid from the grated vegetable, mix it quickly with all the ingredients and fry it immediately so that the raw base does not stay in the open air for a long time.
