Ingredients:

  • Hard cheese - 200 g
  • Pomegranate - 1 pc.
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Chicken hearts, navels - 0.5 kg

Dressing:

  • Mayonnaise
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt, and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the onion into half rings and marinate in the following proportions: 3 tablespoons of vinegar, 200 milliliters of boiled water, and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  2. Boil the navels and hearts until tender.
  3. Cut into strips.
  4. Peel the pomegranate.
  5. Cut the cheese into cubes.
  6. Combine all the ingredients and season.

Pomegranate juice

Ingredients:

  • Grains of 1 medium-sized pomegranate
  • Semi-sweet red wine (can be replaced with liqueur) - 100 ml
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Sugar - 1.5 tbsp. spoons
  • Honey - 1.5 tbsp (if there is no honey, then more sugar)
  • Starch - 1 tsp
  • Juice - 1 tbsp.
  • Dried basil - a pinch

Method of preparation:

  1. Squeeze the juice from the pomegranate seeds.
  2. Separate the seeds.
  3. Mix the juice and wine, and divide by 2/6.
  4. Put a larger amount of the mixture on a small fire, add all the ingredients except starch, and stir occasionally.
  5. Stir the starch into the smaller amount of liquid (juice and wine).
  6. After boiling, add the mixture with starch and stir vigorously, wait until the mixture thickens.
