What foods can you eat at night: an expert gave advice
When we feel hungry late at night, we mindlessly run to the kitchen and grab tea and cookies or a sandwich. Such a snack will not have a positive effect on the body. But this doesn't mean that you can't eat at night at all. You just need to choose the right foods.
Nutritionist Anastasia Stepanenko published a post on her Instagram page explaining what you can eat before bed if you really want to.
The expert notes that the last meal should be three to four hours before bedtime. It should contain protein and fiber. However, if you really want to have a snack, you can choose the following foods:
- Vegetables.
You can make a vegetable salad, dress it with sour cream or natural yogurt, or eat it raw without additives.
- Fruits
There should not be a lot of them. It can be tangerine, grapefruit, or apple.
- Berries
- Kefir
According to the nutritionist, such products are easy to digest and do not interfere with healthy sleep.

Ingredients:
- lettuce leaves
- cucumber
- tomatoes
- onion
- avocado
- feta cheese or feta cheese
- oregano or Italian herbs
- olive oil
Method of preparation:
1. Put lettuce leaves on a plate.
2. Chop cucumber, tomatoes, onions, avocado, feta cheese.
3. Season the salad with oil and add oregano on top.
