What are pseudo-healthy foods and why do we eat them every day?
It turns out that well-known healthy foods are completely useless, or as they can be called pseudo-healthy.
Nutritionist Vira Palamar shared a list of the top "healthy" foods on her Instagram page that are actually completely useless.
Store-bought fruit yogurts
Such yogurts contain sucrose, which is a food sugar consisting of fructose and glucose. These yogurts contain a lot of sugar. Manufacturers also add unnatural additives to them. It's better to replace the store-bought product with natural yogurt, or kefir, and add fruit or berries to taste.
Muesli, cereals, and ready-made breakfasts
They consist of 80% sugar and fat, so it's better to avoid such products and make homemade natural granola.
Sweets with sugar substitutes
Be sure that all these products are 100% sugar-free. Therefore, it is better to give them up and just replace the candy with dried fruits and vegetables.
Instant cereals
Such cereals cannot be healthy because normal, natural cereals cannot be cooked for 1 minute. They also have a very high sugar content. It's better to use only regular cereals, to which you can add any fruit yourself, and you'll be sure of their benefits.
