  • 30-40 g of butter

Method of preparation:

1. Add salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar to the sifted flour and mix. Add the cold butter, grind it into crumbs, add the egg yolk, and water, and knead the soft dough. Put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

2. Roll out the dough to a diameter of 30-35 cm on a table or directly on parchment, trimming the edges if desired.

3. For the filling, slice the apples and spread them out. Sprinkle with starch, sugar, and cinnamon, and put a few slices of butter on top.

4. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes and another 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees until golden brown. Can be eaten hot
