The chef shared a recipe for a delicious apple cake made with sweet crumbs on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 2 apples
- 120 g of sugar (20 g to apples)
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml of milk
- 50 g of butter
- 180 g of flour
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- vanilla flavoring
- spices (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves)
For the crumble:
- 20 g of butter
- 40 g of flour
- 40 g of sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and chop the apples, add sugar and spices.
2. For the dough: mix eggs with sugar, add milk, melted butter, vanilla flavoring and spices. Knead a smooth dough and add the apples.
3. For the sweet crumble: mix all the ingredients, grind into crumbs with your hands.
4. Pour the batter into a parchment-lined baking dish, sprinkle with crumbs and bake for 40-45 minutes at 180 C.
Check for doneness with a wooden stick.
