Tastier and healthier than meat: cauliflower steak for dinner
If you don't eat meat but want a healthy and satisfying dish for dinner, cauliflower is the perfect product for this. It's worth noting that it can be not only boiled and fried but also deliciously cooked in the oven with cheese.
The chef shared a recipe for a delicious cauliflower steak with Parmesan and mozzarella on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower –1 pc
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
- Ground coriander – 1 tsp
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Vegetable oil – 6 tbsp
- Parmesan cheese – 80 g
- Mozzarella cheese – 160 g
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the cabbage into 2-2.5 cm thick slices.
2. In a bowl, mix the chopped garlic, spices and oil.
3. Brush one side of the cabbage with the marinade and cover in grated Parmesan cheese, put the Parmesan on the parchment.
4. Brush the other side of the cabbage with the marinade and sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
Cook in a preheated oven for 25 minutes at 160-170C.
