Shakshuka. A recipe for a Middle Eastern breakfast hit
Shakshuka for two
Cooking time 30 minutes
Ingredients:
Large white onion
1 hot pepper
1 sweet pepper
Half a can of canned chickpeas 100g.
Tomato sauce 200g.
Fresh tomato
4 eggs
3 garlic cloves
3 tbsp. grape seed oil (any other oil)
Paprika, salt, pepper
Preparation:
1. Fry finely chopped onions, garlic, peppers.
2. Add chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce and chickpeas
3. Salt pepper to taste, half a teaspoon of paprika.
4. Simmer the vegetables until ready, pour everything into a ceramic container for baking, then serve in it.
5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
6. Beat 4 eggs on top of the vegetables and bake for about 5-7 minutes until the state of the yolk, which you prefer, it is important that the yolk did not harden completely and remained fluid.
