Salmon and broccoli quiche: a recipe from Hell's Kitchen
Fish quiche with broccoli according to the recipe from "Hell's Kitchen"
Quiche is a delicious and satisfying pie that can be a great option for lunch and even dinner. Moreover, it is very quick and easy to prepare, you need to choose quality products and a good recipe.
Karyna Myrgorod, a participant in the New Channel reality show Hell's Kitchen, shared on Instagram how to make a delicious salmon and broccoli quiche.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Flour - 250-270 g
- Butter - 120 g
- Sugar - 20 g
- Salt - 5 g
- Very cold water - 100 ml
- Chicken yolk - 2 pcs.
Ingredients for the filling:
- Salmon - 400 g
- Broccoli - 400 g
- Sour cream 25% - 200 g
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 g
- Russian cheese - 100 g
- Parmesan cheese - 50 g (can be replaced with other cheese)
- Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
- Salt, spices - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Cut the cold butter with the flour and salt in a blender until crumbs form. Add the egg yolks and ice water until the crumbs form a ball.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. While it is chilling, prepare the filling.
- Cut the fish fillet into slices, divide the broccoli into small florets, and blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes. If the broccoli is frozen, take it out of the freezer.
- Roll out the dough quite thinly and place it in a suitable baking dish. It is very convenient to roll out between two sheets of parchment, so the dough will not tear and it will be easy to transfer to the mold.
- Prick the dough in several places with a fork, cover with parchment, and add the filling (for example, dry beans, peas, special balls). Then put the mold with the dough in the oven for 5 minutes.
- For the filling, mix the eggs with sour cream, salt, and spices, whisk lightly with a fork until smooth, and grate the cheese.
- Put the fish fillets on the baked dough. Arrange the broccoli on top and pour the egg mixture over it. You can do this right in the oven so you don't spill the filling on the way. Do everything carefully so that it does not overflow over the sides of the dough.
- Then put the quiche in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes, depending on the depth and width of the mold. The filling should thicken well and brown a little.
Serve the pie warm or completely cooled.
