Royal cheesecake without rolling out the dough: how to make a dessert

Despite its sophisticated name, the royal cheesecake is extremely easy to prepare. That's because you don't need to knead and roll out the dough - the dessert is made on the basis of shortbread crumbs. This makes the texture of the cheesecake very fluffy and soft.

Food blogger Olga Pavlenko(opium_foodie) shared arecipe for the royal cheesecake on her Instagram page .

Ingredients:

  • flour - 85 g
  • sugar - 40 g
  • baking powder - 1\4 tsp.
  • cocoa - 15 g
  • soft butter - 65 g
  • salt - a pinch

Filling:

  • cream cheese - 300 g
  • eggs - 1 pc
  • sugar - 90 g
  • sour cream - 75 g
  • vanilla sugar
  • starch - 15 g

Method of preparation:

1. Add sugar, salt, baking powder and cocoa to the flour. Mix well.

2. Add soft butter and wet hands to form crumbs. Leave half of the crumbs, put the other half in the refrigerator.

3. Cover the bottom of the mold with parchment. Put the crumbs to form a cake. Smooth the surface with a spoon or your hands.

4. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees. Let cool slightly.

5. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Mix cottage cheese, egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and sour cream. Mix with a spoon and then with a whisk until smooth.

6. Add the starch. Stir well.

7. Put the finished filling on the cake.

8. Sprinkle with crumbs from the refrigerator.

9. Bake for 1 hour at 170 degrees.
