Pie "Apricots under the snow": be sure to make this dessert this summer

"Apricots under the Snow" is a delicious and, at the same time, very simple summer dessert. The lush and airy dough goes well with the juicy filling. It is best eaten chilled with tea or coffee.

The idea of making a fluffy Apricots in the Snow cake was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger named santa kiyakh. For the "snow," you will need egg whites and powdered sugar.

Ingredients:

• egg yolks - 2 pcs.
• salt - a pinch
• sugar - 100 g
• vanilla - to taste
• butter at room temperature - 200 g
• sour cream or warm kefir - 2-3 tbsp
• baking soda - 0.5 tbsp (quench with lemon)
• all-purpose flour (wheat) - 400 g
• apricots - 7-10 pieces (sweet varieties)

Ingredients for the snow:

• whites - 2 pcs.
• salt - a pinch
• powdered sugar - 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix egg yolks, soft butter, sugar, salt, vanilla.

2. Grind until white.

3. Add sour cream (kefir), and baking soda.

4. Stir and add the flour.

5. Put the finished dough on siliconized parchment.

6. Distribute it into the mold.

7. Put in the apricot halves (you can also use strawberries, cherries, apples, etc. instead).

8. Bake until golden brown for 40-50 minutes at 180 degrees.

9. Pull out the cake.

10. Beat the whites with the powdered sugar and put on the cake, then bake for another 5 minutes.

11. Remove the cake.

12. Cool overnight.
