Pickled zucchini with chili peppers: great for barbecue
Marinated zucchini with chili peppers is just the perfect appetizer for a barbecue. Refreshing, moderately spicy, and extremely tasty, this dish will help your receptors fully experience the taste of grilled meat.
Food blogger Liza Glinska shared her recipe for pickled zucchini with chili peppers on Instagram. It turns out that this dish can be ready even before the barbecue is grilled.
Ingredients:
- Young zucchini - 3 pieces
- Salt - 1 tbsp
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 9% - 20 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
- Parsley
- Chili pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and dry the zucchini.
2. Cut them into thin strips.
3. Add salt and leave for 15 minutes to let the juice run.
4. Prepare the marinade. Mix oil, vinegar, and sugar in a bowl.
5. Chop the chili pepper and add it to the marinade along with the garlic and parsley.
6. Drain the zucchini and pour the marinade over it. Cover with cling film.
7. Put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
