Nutritionist gives 7 tips on how to eat more vegetables
People who decide to "introduce" a lot of vegetables and fruits into their diet may immediately face vegetable monotony, which can drastically discourage them from deciding to eat right.
Nutritionist Olga Usenko gave 7 tips on her Instagram page on how to eat a lot of vegetables a day and, most importantly, how to cook them so that they taste good.
1. Vegetable soups are a great option for the cold season, although there is one great option for summer – cold borscht. In this borscht, you can replace potatoes with more legumes and put a lot of beets in it, or you can leave it with potatoes. And for the cold season, minestrone and vegetable puree soups with the right composition will be good.
2. An omelet with vegetables is a versatile dish to which you can add different types of vegetables.
3. You can make meat patties, and you need to add a lot of vegetables to the minced meat during cooking.
4. You can make casseroles with vegetables, cheese, and meat.
5. You can add vegetables and herbs to sauces and guacamole – it will be tasty and healthy.
6. Stuffed bell peppers are convenient, and quick and can be made to suit every taste.
7. Zucchini lasagna is also very tasty and, if you like to cook, it will be a great dish for dinner.
