No sugar, no flour, no baking: a healthy pumpkin mousse dessert for kids

Pumpkin and apples are the best autumnal foods for preparing various dishes, from pies to dumplings, mashed potatoes, salads, as well as desserts and delicious drinks. It's worth noting that pumpkin is the healthiest vegetable that everyone should eat, according to experts.

Food expert Svitlana Levytska shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious pumpkin and apple dessert, without sugar and baking for children.

Ingredients:

  • applesauce - 400 g
  • pumpkin puree - 400 g
  • juice of 1 orange
  • gelatin - 15 g

Method of preparation:

1. Bake the apples and pumpkin. Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Squeeze the juice from the orange and heat, add the gelatin and mix.

3. Then pour into the mashed potatoes and mix again.

4. Put the mousse into silicone molds or bowls. Put it in the refrigerator for several hours until it hardens.

Drizzle hot chocolate over the dessert before serving!
